Last year Wendy French from Bracknell, in Berkshire, had her life changed when she won a home business start up kit, and with this week’s announcement that the 2010 Remote Worker Awards, in association with BT Business, is now open, Wendy encourages everyone who wants to work from home to enter.
The Award appealed to hundreds of eager entrants who all want to work from home with their own home based business. Wendy wants to combine her experience as a textile designer, senior PA and admin and finance officer to develop a home-based business and looks forward to entering some of the new Award Categories this year.
The The Arise Be Your Own Boss Award is a life changing awards where several entrants will be given the opportunity to work from home. Someone, who is not currently working from home and wants to be their own boss, will win a home based franchise from Snippets worth £10k and runners up will each be awarded a small business start up kit.
Wendy said: "I was thrilled to win this fantastic opportunity. I have buzzing with other ideas which I intend to develop for my own home business.”
Award winning website, Remote Employment, Google’s No 1 job site for flexible and home based jobs, launched The Remote Worker Awards in association with BT Business to highlight how home working and remote working benefits the British public and their working life.
Paula Wynne, Founder of Remote Employment and organiser of the Remote Worker Awards, said: “It has been a highly rewarding experience to see the wide variety of talented people who embrace flexible working and seeing just how many people want to enjoy the benefits of working from home!”
